Web orders placed during this time may take 1–2 weeks to be processed and completed (this includes orders for in-stock items), though we will work as speedily as we can to exceed these estimates. You will be contacted when your order is ready, and we thank you for your patience! Our team will also contact you with ETAs for items that are not in stock, with the option to cancel them from your order if you prefer.

At the end of June we updated the system that runs our registers and databases!

Do you have a gift card that looks like this?

As this system upgrade includes a change to our gift card database, existing gift cards will need to be transferred to our new system as of Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Please note that your existing card won’t lose its value, and there’s no deadline for switching to a new card, but we will need to convert your card in order to use your credit.

If you have an existing Harvard Book Store gift card (as pictured above; the code on the back will also begin with “603”) we will transfer your balance to a new card the next time you visit the bookstore. You can have this taken care of by a bookseller at the Information Desk.
